Beneath the Page podcast

Launched in April 2025, and running until April 2026, I co-hosted (along with Sophie Beal) Beneath the Page, a podcast about books and the authors who write them. 

All writers, whether we mean to or not, let something of ourselves bleed through into our work. Beneath the Page features in-depth author interviews, hoping to uncover more of the writer, as well as introducing readers to books they might enjoy discovering. There’s a lot of laughter too. 

The podcast was enormous fun to do, but in the end we both came to the conclusion that it was taking up more time than we could justify for it, time that could be better spent writing (in both of our cases) and running Cadence Publishing (in Sophie's case). Nevertheless, all of the episodes are still available wherever you usually get your podcasts.
